Biography
Dr. Gabriel Carabulea is a medical expert specializing in the treatment of cancer and blood conditions. He has been treating patients with various types of cancer for 25 years. He strongly recommends screening for early detection and prevention of cancer. He deeply believes in the value of complementary medicine, which is a combination of the practices of alternative methods and conventional medicine. He believes this combination will enhance the healing results, and minimize the toxicity and side effects of standard chemotherapy. He focuses on the importance of nutrition as a promoter of good health. Therefore, he emphasizes using good nutrition to strengthen the immune system during anticancer therapy.
He has in-depth knowledge of the new cancer-fighting therapies that include targeted therapies that work by interfering with specific targeted molecules needed for carcinogenesis and tumor growth. He also practices immunotherapy, which is a treatment that uses certain parts of a person’s immune system to fight diseases such as cancer.

Dr. Carabulea is a Board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan as well as a Fellowship in Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation and High Dose chemotherapy at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Dr. Carabulea completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Vernon Hospital in New York after receiving his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania.
